Complex Training began with a question — why do so many people struggle to achieve lasting results, even with access to more information than ever before?
In 2012, fresh from a degree in Sport and Exercise Science, I entered the world of coaching. My early work with youth athletes across North London soon evolved into something much deeper at David Lloyd Finchley, where I worked closely with professionals, parents, and everyday people navigating the real-life challenges of fitness. It was there that I first saw the disconnect: between what people knew, and what they were actually able to do.
By 2015, I was coaching over 50 hours a week and had helped launch a boutique gym — but I’d hit a point where time limited my ability to impact more lives.
So in 2017, Complex Training was founded — with a clear vision:
To make the complex simple and sustainable for everyone.

From one-man operation to in-demand personal training company
What began as a one-man operation has grown year on year — not by chance, but through commitment to coaching that drives real change. In 2019, we relocated to Trent Park to expand our services. During lockdown in 2020, we adapted swiftly delivering Zoom sessions, outdoor training, and growing stronger as a team and brand.
As demand grew, so did the team — each coach bringing the same client-first mindset and a shared commitment to excellence.
Now, with over 300% growth since 2020, Complex Training has become one of North London’s leading personal training companies — known not just for results, but for the standard behind them.
